FAQ
Big ideas. Little questions.
A little help for parents bringing their child’s imagination to life.
What can we create from our child’s idea?
Choose an animated drawing, an illustrated storybook, a storybook video, or a custom animated adventure. Start with what your child loves to imagine, then explore Ways to Dream to choose a format.
What should we send you?
A drawing, a written story, or a few sentences about an idea can be a starting point. Include the characters, setting, and details your child wants to keep. A clear photo or scan helps us understand a drawing.
Does the story need to be finished?
No polished pitch is needed. Share the spark. Dreamer Short includes story development; contact the studio if you would like help choosing the right creation.
Will it still feel like our child’s story?
Tell us which words, characters, jokes, and imaginative details matter most. Dreamer Storybook uses light copyediting for flow while preserving your child’s original voice and ideas.
What ages is this for?
Our creations celebrate children’s ideas and imagination. Share your child’s interests and the kind of story you want to make, and we can help you choose a suitable format.
How much does it cost, and what will we receive?
Listed creations are Drawn to Life ($29), Dreamer Storybook ($59), Storybook Video ($99), Dreamer Short ($179), and Feature Story (Contact for more info). Books and videos are digital creations. Visit each service page for its included format and scope; contact us about custom requests.
How long does it take, and are revisions included?
Our usual turnaround is 1–2 weeks. Contact the studio to confirm your delivery date, preview stages, and included revision rounds before ordering. Tell us if you are planning a birthday or another special date.
How are our child’s drawings, photos, and story used?
Children’s finished work may be shown publicly by Somewhere Studios unless you request otherwise. If you would like your child’s creation kept out of our public portfolio and marketing, tell us before work begins. Contact the studio about how photos and other personal references are used and stored, and about usage rights for your project.
Find your starting point in Ways to Dream, explore the Dreamer Gallery, or email the studio.
